I would recommend the Timber Doctor to everyone that needs a repair of their timber furniture. I contacted Jodie and she replied to my email the next day. We arranged to come and see our table that needed the repair. She was very polite and professional, and arranged to take our item back to their workshop, within two days we had our item back as good as new! I’m very happy with the repair that she did and would recommend the Timber Doctor to everyone.

I presented Nigel with a challenging job when he received my Cedar Chest of Drawers to restore. I estimated them to be at least 100 Yrs. old. Nigel has done a superb job and the Drawers look fantastic ready for another 100 yrs! My dealings with Nigel and Aliyah, the Administrator have been an absolute delight. Jodie and Jarod provided exceptional service and their work was extraordinary. They repaired two items - a laminated timber door and a damaged chair. They flew from the Gold Coast to Cairns to complete the repair work. Which is above and beyond what most tradespeople would do. The quality of the repairs was unbelievable, the damage was invisible once they had worked their magic. I highly recommend their services to anyone in need of timber repair work.

We needed some repairs to two bench seats in our restaurant and Jodie and the team were great to deal with. They were quick and efficient and got the job done with no fuss.

Jodie repaired both a coffee table and drinks trolley for me. They now look amazing! I'd owned both pieces for years and they were looking run down and stained in a dark colour that didn't match anything in my home. She sanded them down and now they are a beautiful light grey/blue colour. Also she used stencils on the trolley so it looks even more special. Jodie also allowed me to be a part of the design process picking colours and the stencil. So happy with the end result!!! Thank you

I would highly recommend Jodie & Jared Higgins for their professionalism, advice and fantastic work. From the moment I contacted Jodie she gave great advice on what needed to be done to the teak table so it could be used in the patio. I would like to thank Jared & his son for putting the table together when it was brought back to our house. The teak table looks fantastic. Jodie also did an amazing job on the wooden pool panels and gate which were in very bad condition from the sun. Jodie has an amazing passion for restoration of wood which is a rare quality nowadays. Nigel and his team are unique in the sense that they truly consult before taking action, and genuinely care more about getting the best solution for the customer, even if it means they don’t get any business out of it. Nigel and his team came to check out 3 wooden units at our rental property that hadn’t been properly finished including a bathroom vanity unit which had water marks all over it, (reasonable to expect water in a bathroom, right?). Rather than simply commence work to make a quick buck, he helped us swerve a very awkward conversation with our landlord and potential fines by instead writing a report to explain that the units were actually unfit for purpose, and that the water stains were not our fault since it was reasonable to expect wood (especially in a bathroom) to have a protective finish. This meant Nigel forewent the chance to complete the job himself, leaving us with a tiny bill opposed to a relatively large fee & potential repercussions. I can’t thank Nigel and his team enough for being genuine, honest people. It’s not often you meet such trustworthy, helpful people. 5 starts, highly recommended.

We bought a sideboard from Nick Scali four years ago and began having issues with a drawer 6 months ago. Nick Scali was unable to help but instead suggested The Timber Doctor. Nigel went out of his way to come and look at the issue and stayed until he had fixed it. We could not recommend him more for all small and large timber/furniture jobs, he is friendly, helpful, punctual, and really knows his furniture.
